I’m Lauren – serial entrepreneur, married to the most incredible man, mom to future ‘smoothie shop owner’ Avery and our little one Skylar.

Ask my parents about 12-year old Lauren’s ‘Phlower Photos by Paige’ – my entrepreneurial spirit has been an integral part of my being for as long as I can remember. 

Fast forward 10 years, I started my career in the corporate world producing video content for prominent food and lifestyle brands – Martha Stewart Living, Refinery29, Spoon University. My passion for brand storytelling and expertise in social strategy grew exponentially over the years. 

Eventually, I decided to tap back into that entrepreneurial energy and start Magenta Media – a boutique creative studio catering to small businesses. My mission was to help brands grow through powerful and effective storytelling. Since then, I’ve helped 50+ brands tell their stories through video content production specifically designed to meet the needs of the ever-evolving social media landscape.

As Magenta Media grew, so did our client base. The reason I had started Magenta Media – to help small businesses grow through accessible creative production services – was no longer the driving force behind the business as we started working with bigger, more established brands. 

While Magenta Media continues to thrive, something was missing for me. I have such a passion for people and small business. I am invigorated by supporting other women in pursuit of their dreams. I realized I had the knowledge, experience and expertise to build a mentorship program that could do exactly that. Thus, Own Your Brand was born. 

My mission is simple – empowering women to unlock their potential and grow their businesses.
